Member Committee Sign-up

The success of the Women's Civic Club is dependent on each member's support of the committee meetings, committee chairs, and committee events, as well as other fundraising events when needed.

As you choose your three (3) committees—of which at least one (1) must be a fundraising committee—recognize and stand by the commitment you make. If you are uncertain about any committee functions or time commitments, a Description of Committee sheet is available upon request.

Payment Instructions:

Complete and sign the form and give to the MEMBERSHIP CHAIR by the May General Meeting along with your $30 dues. This form must accompany your dues. Checks should be made payable to the "Women's Civic Club". You may also mail your form and check to:

The undersigned, (director, Officer position, committee chair, committee member, or member) of The Women's Civic Club of Panama City Beach, FL, Inc. acknowledges:

  1. She has received a copy of the Organization's Conflict of Interest Policy (located at wccpcb.org/forms/);
  2. She has read and understands the Policy;
  3. She has agreed to comply with the Policy;
  4. She understands the Organization's maintenance of its charitable activities and federal tax exemption depends on its understanding primarily of activities that support its charitable purpose; and
  5. The following on-going relationships and interest may present a conflict of interest:

Scholarship Application

The Women’s Civic Club of Panama City Beach is offering three $3,000 scholarships to three high school graduating seniors residing in PCB who will be attending an accredited college or vocational training. During application review, preference may be given to applicants choosing to attend Florida schools for their higher education.

The Women’s Civic Club of Panama City Beach is a charitable organization. Its mission is to endeavor to cultivate public sentiments for the promotion of civic improvements for the best development of the Panama City Beach community generally and to give aid to worthy projects in the community.

Please complete all sections of this application and upload all required documents. The deadline for submission is April 1, 2027.

Sponsor Checklist for Potential Members

Although a potential member completes an application it is not a guarantee the candidate will be approved. It is important as a sponsor you know the potential member to feel assured, they will be a productive and valued member for the club. If the potential member is approved, it is your responsibility as the sponsor to aid in their development.

One of the ways to understand how a potential member works well with others is to invite them to volunteer at our events and then get feedback from members that they worked with.

  • The club is a working club not a social club
  • Sign up for three committees, at least one fundraising committee
  • Respond to committee chairs correspondence
  • Attend committee meetings
  • Support events
  • Complete sign-up sheets yearly
  • Pay dues
  • Respect each other
  • Applicant submitted to Membership Chair
  • Applicant interviewed by a member of the Executive Board
  • Application presented to the board (last Thursday of month)
  • If application approved, member will be installed at next

Inactive Membership Request

Inactive membership shall be granted to the following: (a) any member who is unable to attendmeetingsor (b) participate in club activities on a regular basis, and (c) informs either the President ortheFirstVice President that they wish to remain or go inactive, and (d) pays their dues.

An inactive member MAY elect to serve on Committees.
